For me this was – and always will be – the first real ‘game-changer’ in Waterford Theatre. Before Grease there were two societies performing tried and trusted standards. After Grease the floodgates opened and young people – and in fact anybody – who wanted to try and put on a show could do so with a bit of self belief. This priceless video is an hour long sequence of interviews and behind the scenes and includes some footage with a very young Bryan Flynn – this was his first show as director. Settle down with a cup of coffee and watch it – it’s worth it 🙂 Credit for video – Glenn Mulcahy.
