De La Salle Musical Society was the longest running musical society in Waterford City. From its early days and ‘The Pied Piper Of Hamlin’ in 1931 to Mack and Mabel in 2011 this society performed every year through thick and thin until finally winding down in 2011. Multi award winning and featuring multiple award winners over the years, the highlight was without doubt ‘The King And I’ in 1993 that swept the boards in AIMS as well as a strong performance in the Waterford International Festival of Light Opera.
