1975 was the famous year of the ‘Joseph’ Tops presented by Dermot Grahams Waterford Glass team. Jumping back 24 years today to 1996 and a piece of G&S. The Edmund Rice Choral And Musical Society presented ‘The Pirates of Penzance’ in the Theatre Royal and here is an extract. This featured Denny Corcoran as a Groucho Marx styled Chief of Police!

Way back to our first video from 1981 today and the central ‘Xanadu’ scene from the 1981 Glass tops. It was a long 10 minute pivotal scene in the middle of the production.

Another classic video today – way back to 1991 and the Edmund Rice Choral and Musical Society’s production of ‘My Fair Lady’. Featuring the late great Denny Corcoran as Alfie Doolittle, it also features prominently the late Peter O’Brien, another stalwart of the music and choral scene in Waterford.
