AUDIO – The Great Sylvia Walker

Sylvia Walker is a familiar name to people of a certain vintage. THE most talented Chorus Mistress / Rehearsal Pianist that Waterford has ever seen. Always generous with her time and talent and a wicked sense of humour. I’m delighted her good friend Michelle Condon gave me this vintage tape to share with everyone – Sylvia played and introduced about 30 minutes of music onto tape for Michelle as she started teaching dancing over 30 years ago. It’s an old recording but you can still hear her brilliant playing and her oh so familiar voice introducing the pieces. Absolute precious gold. Enjoy.
