Waterford Crystal got to the national final in two successive years in the 1980’s – ’86 and ’87, both produced by Michael Grant. It’s time for another Tops video and we are back to 1986 and Nokia, produced by Denny Corcoran. This time Denny chose a ‘Swing’ opening with a song from A Chorusline added in for good measure.

Back in 1986 De La Salle Musical Society performed the classic ‘Carousel’ by Rogers and Hammerstein. Here is some press photographs and a bit from Mick Brown’s column coming up to Carousel – (Friday November 7th ’86) interesting how they got Bryan Flynn’s name wrong!
