On Saturday, July 18th, the Symphony Club of Waterford presented a brilliant concert in Christchurch. Guests on the night were the local City of Waterford Brass with Gwynedd a Mon’s Schools Music Service Senior Brass Band and Folk Choir being the headline acts. Thanks to Liam Daly for giving us the rundown on the Symphony Club and the visiting choir and band.
The Barrack Street Band are a Waterford institution. Michael Rowe, president of the band, gave us the lowdown on the bands long involvement with Spraoi.
