I’m delighted to share this today and a special thanks to Ollie Breslin from Waterford Youth Arts for access to this video. It’s a video interview that WYA did with Des for a social history film that they produced called ‘Down The Down’. Des is to me one of the godfathers of Theatre in Waterford and this is pure gold. He chats about his musical family, Anna Manahan and he also plays a few tunes on the piano. Believe me this is worth a look. Enjoy!
