‘Maritana’ celebrated the first refurbishment of the Theatre Royal in 2000.
In 2000, the Edmund Rice Choral and Musical Society celebrated the refurbishment of the Theatre Royal with a quite apt production of ‘Maritana’ by William Vincent Wallace.
