In 2000, the Edmund Rice Choral and Musical Society celebrated the refurbishment of the Theatre Royal with a quite apt production of ‘Maritana’ by William Vincent Wallace. The show programme for this production featured articles by the legendary Larry Fanning – custodian of the Theatre Royal for so many years
In 1996 Stage Fright were doing ‘Chess’, Edmund Rice Choral and Musical Society were presenting ‘The Mikado’ and Tramore Combined Schools were performing the premier of ‘Whistle Down The Wind’.
