1998 AIMS Awards Banquet Menus and Nominations

It’s the AIMS weekend – the Oscars of musical societies in Ireland and Killarney is the place to be tonight! Time to reminisce on older AIMS awards – back 20 years to 1998 when Premier Productions was nominated for ‘Joseph’ as best show, Michelle Condon for Best Choreographer and Ben Hennessy for Best Sets. Also nominated that year was the Edmund Rice CMS for ‘Pirates’ in the best G&S show category. Also 1999 – and Richie Hayes was nominated as ‘Rubber Face’ as supporting actor in Showboat. Of those Michelle Condon was the only successful winner. Have a browse.
